SFI quality is a process based ISO 9001:2008 system. Including a computer based electronic system that allows for dynamic real time control plans as well as living FMEA processes. SFI utilizes advance statistical problem solving methods to not only identify issues but validate corrective and improvement actions. We utilize state of the art measuring equipment such as CMM, Laser Scanners as well as customer built check fixtures to reduce the probably of failure on form fit our functional attributes of the customers designed products. We can assist in validating designs with software that integrates our measurement systems with the most common CAD systems, giving engineering the tools to see quickly where the physical parts meet the design intent.

Our paperless system guarantees systemic integrity to the lowest level of operation by providing the latest documentation to every area in the organization. With this centralized system changes are guaranteed to be implemented across the board without errors caused by mixed or missing documentation.

Our system allows us to trace materials back to its origin and also has the added feature of trace forward thereby improving our investigative ability in solving problems. The serialization of products begins at the receipt of the raw material and ends at the customerís process. The system utilizes bar codes to develop a trace tree based on any serial number entered into the system.

We employ a structured Advanced Quality Planning System (APQP) which guarantees a step by step process approach to new product process development. The system will give updates to the status of the new product depicting which phase of the process as well as direct notification to those who have open action items.

Data mining and analysis are supported by real time data entry allowing instantaneous Pareto and trend charts with drill down capability to a single part or process. This real time data can also drive Statistical Process Control where necessary to give the operators real time feedback on dimensional performance and trends, adding another powerful tool to facilitate there operational goals. Scrap analysis can be performed within seconds of entry looking at the historical factors that may be contributing to the causes. The real time data collection and storage will allow us to quickly determine root-causes and effective counter measures, avoiding the traps of treating the symptoms and not the true cause.
