SFI is committed to helping to protect fighting forces around the world. When the military developed vehicles to survive urban combat and roadside explosions, SFI stepped up to become one of the preeminent manufacturers of Armor Plate Components for MATV, MRAP & HMMWV vehicles.  These components are critical to saving lives on the battlefield, and advancing the efforts of military forces.

• ·         SFI has fabricated and finished major components and sub-assemblies for 5,000+ MATVs, 8,000+ Maxxpro MRAP variants, numerous Uparmored HMMWVs, as well as several other tactical and combat platforms.

  ·         SFI has served as a “master cutter” for other fabricators (providing laser cut armor blanks) in support of the Maxxpro program.

  ·         SFI has sustained production to support 500-700 Maxxpro and MATV vehicles per month for multiple build locations

  ·         While in full production SFI has also supported multiple large service part orders for past variations without interruption to build schedule.

  ·         SFI has worked with our customers to recommend part design and manufacturing changes to improve quality, lower cost, and increased production.
